6.1. Installation is always calculated based on a support that is perfectly level and correctly installed. The back of the rebates (battées) must be cleared of excess mortar, and insulation must be trimmed so as not to obstruct the correct installation of the frames.
6.2. Exterior finishing is provided via silicone (maximum 8mm), and interior finishing via insulating foam injection, included in the installation price and performed during the same work phase. No financial deduction/withholding shall be granted if silicone joints are performed in a second phase due to weather conditions, scheduling, or supplier stock shortages.
6.3. During renovation (and occasionally in new builds), a significant gap may appear between the frame and the masonry if the latter is not plumb. Re-pointing with cement will be necessary and shall be at your expense.
6.4. Installation and silicone work are performed in a single work phase. Any interruption or modification made at your request will systematically result in a surcharge.
6.5. The removal and reinstallation of existing finishes (casings/architraves) are not guaranteed, even if these services are paid for.
6.6. Any damage to existing interior window sills that are retained is not covered.
6.7. Damage to furniture or breakage of objects is not covered by our insurance if they have not been removed and/or protected by you.
6.8. The removal of an existing shutter often results in interior sills or casings that are too narrow. The addition of a “monoblock” shutter requires a sill 5cm deeper than standard. In renovation, the latter is often too short and may require a PVC adaptation (flat strip or sill).
6.9. The client must ensure site accessibility during working hours. Any additional travel will be invoiced as “time and materials” (en régie) with a minimum of €300.00 excl. VAT per person dispatched.
6.10. In cases where installation is impossible (e.g., unsuitable support, incorrect opening measurements, or other errors by the contractor/owner/architect), a flat fee of minimum €300.00 excl. VAT per person dispatched will be invoiced.
6.11. Installation in multiple phases at the client’s request: €500.00 excl. VAT per phase.
6.12. Prices including installation are set assuming that rooms are cleared of furniture and ornaments and are easily accessible.
6.13. Unless otherwise agreed, installation will only take place after payment of the second deposit, which must be settled at the latest upon delivery. If it is found during installation that the second deposit has not been paid, installation may be postponed, and any additional costs related to rescheduling (including transport, lost hours, etc.) will be fully invoiced to the client.
6.14. In renovation, the client is aware of the excessive dust generated and shall ensure furniture is moved and protected. The client shall also protect floors, carpets, parquets, and stairs.
